In 1972, at the age of 18, President Nixon ended the military draft. My number was 155. At the same time I was aware of an academic grant to Georgia Institution of Techonology that I kept all 4 years. I still worked 2 jobs and took out 2 school loans.
After graduating Georgia Tech in 1976, I was accepted to graduate school of dentistry to one of the top 3 schools for dentistry in the U.S at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The school was more than extremely difficult but probably because I worked 2 jobs and started my own business. My father gracefully helped me financially for half the expenses; I paid the other half of the expense and took out 2 more school loans to do it. I graduated in 1981. I went to work immediately. Six years later, I applied for and got accepted to a 2 year post doctoral program at Harvard University School for Dental Implantology. I worked in farm fields of Sparta, Georgia to pay for my education. It took me 13 years to pay off my school loans.
The reason I write my own bio - as such - is because I MORE THAN RESPECT your HARD EARNED dollars. This is why I give a warranty in almost every dental procedure. In addition, I fight for ways to keep my fees reasonable and affordable. Discuss this with me anytime in consult at "No Charge".
Thank you for your interest. Feel free to come in for your " Free Consultation" anytime.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph B. Allen D.D.S
